Brent Schwartz is a sports media Swiss army knife specializing in NFL coverage, content management/programming, and researching/writing/producing for TV. Brent graduated from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism with a Master’s degree in Sports Journalism & Broadcasting. Before that, he previously attended North Carolina State University, where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Sport Management. After graduation, he spent over a year with The David Glenn Show, the then-premier sports radio program in North Carolina, as an associate producer while simultaneously interning for Football Outsiders. After obtaining his Master’s at Northwestern, Brent moved out to Los Angeles in December of 2017 to work for NFL.com’s Digital Programming team, and then as a jack-of-all-trades Associate Producer/Writer/Researcher for Fair Game with Kristine Leahy on Fox Sports 1. Recently, Brent worked as a Researcher for NBC Sports during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics before settling into his current role as a Content, Community and Partnerships Coordinator with Play PickUp. Brent also continues to be a contributing writer for USA TODAY Sports Media Group’s Patriots Wire.
